⑴The corrugated type of corrugated box is divided into four categories: A, B, C, and E according to the height of the corrugated box. The mechanical properties of different corrugated cardboards are also different. Type A corrugated cardboard has the highest plane pressure and higher compressive strength, while Type B is the opposite. Type C has better plane pressure, vertical pressure, parallel pressure and buffer force; the thickness between corrugated boards is the largest for Type A, and Type C is the largest. Secondly, type B is the third, and type E is the smallest. Because the cardboard with small thickness is easier to process and bend, B-shaped corrugated paper is widely used for packaging and shipping boxes that do not require high compressive strength of the box. According to the different corrugated cardboard For mechanical properties, it is better to use type A or C for single-sided corrugated boxes, and a combination of types A, B or B, and C for double-sided corrugated boxes. Type B is used for those close to the outer surface, which can play a role in impact resistance. The combination of type A, B or type B and C can improve the physical and mechanical properties of the carton; in terms of printing suitability, both type B and type C are good for printing.
⑵For the box shape of corrugated boxes, on the premise of ensuring the quality of the cartons, the cost of carton processing materials and packaging should be saved as much as possible. For example, for cartons with the same volume, the ratio of length: width: height is 2:1:2, which saves the most material, and the ratio is 1:1:1, which consumes the most material. Therefore, the use of square boxes should be avoided as much as possible. The utilization rate of the product to the box volume, the utilization rate of the box to the volume of trucks and train cars, and the stability of stacking during storage and transportation should also be taken into account.
