The mechanical properties of different corrugated boards are also different. Type A corrugated paperboard has high plane pressure and high compressive strength, while type B corrugated paperboard has the opposite effect. Type C corrugated paperboard has good plane pressure, vertical pressure, parallel pressure and buffer force; Due to the thickness of corrugated cardboard, it is easy to process and bend cardboard with small thickness. Therefore, B-shaped corrugated paper is widely used for packaging and transportation of boxes with low requirements on the compressive strength of boxes. According to the different mechanical properties of corrugated paperboard, type A or C is preferred for single-sided corrugated boxes, type A, B, B, and C are preferred for double-sided corrugated boxes, and type B is preferred for those close to the outer surface, which can play an impact resistance role. A. Type B or combination of type B and type C can improve the physical and mechanical properties of the carton; In terms of printability, both type B and type C are favorable for printing.

On the premise of ensuring the quality of the corrugated cardboard box, the box shape of the corrugated cardboard box should try to save the processing materials and packaging costs of the cardboard box. For example. For cartons with the same volume, the length: width: height of 2:1:2 will save materials, and the ratio of 1:1:1 will cost materials. Therefore, square boxes should be avoided as far as possible.
