The development of corrugated box processing in China seems to have experienced many twists and turns, and has made great progress. With the development of social economy and the improvement of people's living standards, people pay more and more attention to the perfection of packaging. Corrugated boxes have developed from monochrome three-dimensional printing to multi-layer printing, and gradually developed from simple packaging containers to higher value-added packaging. Direction of development.
Corrugated box processing has a concave-convex structure, and its internal air cushion can well protect the product from damage. Corrugated boxes are fast in production, economical and practical, flat before use, easy to store, and easy to recycle after use. Therefore, corrugated boxes are the packaging containers of choice for most products. They bear the responsibility of sales and marketing personnel and play an important role in packaging and transportation.
The cardboard of the corrugated box is made of two parallel plane papers, which are used as the outer paper and the inner paper respectively, with a corrugated corrugated cardboard core sandwiched in the middle, and each paper surface is bonded together by an adhesive applied to the corrugation. Most of the corrugated boxes circulating in the market are double-layer corrugated cardboard boxes, that is: surface paper corrugated sandwich paper corrugated paper inner paper. The production of corrugated boxes should determine the paper structure, material selection, corrugation type and molding process of the cardboard according to the needs of customers, the characteristics of the product, the weight of the contents and the size of the carton.
Corrugated cardboard is usually divided into corrugated boxes with different corrugated types, such as A, B, C, E, F, G, etc., according to the height and spacing of the corrugations. Type A, Type B and Type C corrugated cardboard are usually used for outer packaging, and Type E, Type F and Type G corrugated cardboard are now more and more widely used. The number of corrugations per unit length is large, the corrugation height is small, and it is thin and hard. Corrugated folding cartons have better cushioning performance than ordinary cardboard, and the grooved and cut surfaces are smooth and beautiful. Commonly used in color packaging printing.
A corrugated box is a complete combined corrugated box formed by joining two pieces of identical corrugated cardboard through overlapping edges after die-cutting and crimping. There are three ways to combine corrugated boxes, namely: metal wire nail combination method, tape combination method and adhesive combination method. The wire staple method of joining is the more common box join method, and wire staples are used to join along the centerline of the overlapping sections. The tape bonding method is to use a tape with a width of about 60mm on the outside of the carton, and use the bonding ridge on the carton interface as the bonding center line. The adhesive bonding method is to use an adhesive to bond the overlapping parts of the carton, and the adhesive used is mainly polyvinyl acetate emulsion. The adhesive should have good viscosity, be highly adaptable to changes in temperature and humidity, and be able to dry and cure quickly in a short time.
Among the three bonding methods for cartons, the bonding strength of adhesive bonding is the best, followed by the bonding performance of tape bonding, and the bonding quality of wire nail bonding is low. When connecting corrugated boxes, the connection method should be reasonably selected according to the characteristics of the contents, the type of corrugated cardboard and the batch of corrugated boxes produced.
