Corrugated cardboard is soft, the corrugated shape is easily deformed by impact, and the damage rate of internal products is high. The honeycomb paperboard has a laminated structure, the surface board has a strong bearing capacity, the honeycomb sandwich core can be better than the corrugated cardboard in the space structure of the I-beam web, and has a strong buffering capacity.
④ Sound absorption and heat insulation. The interior of the honeycomb sandwich structure is a closed unit, which is filled with air, so it has good sound insulation performance.
⑤ Honeycomb paperboard is easy to cut and drill. It can be processed into various desired shapes and sizes. At the same time, it has good compatibility with other structural materials and is suitable for use as a cushion.
⑥The weight is very light, less material is used, and the cost is very low. Compared with various other board structures, the honeycomb sandwich structure has the greatest strength/weight ratio, so its finished product has a good performance/price ratio, which is the key to the success of the honeycomb paperboard. The density of ordinary honeycomb cardboard is about: 30-5kg/㎡, which is one-third of the density of ordinary corrugated cardboard. Ordinary honeycomb cardboard material is about two-thirds of the heavy-duty seven-layer corrugated cardboard with comparable strength.
⑦No pollution, in line with the trend of modern environmental protection. The honeycomb paperboard is all made of recycled paper, which can be reused and 100% recycled after use. Even if it is discarded, it will be naturally degraded and absorbed. It is a very good green packaging material.
